We Made It

We left our house yesterday morning at 3:30AM and finally arrived in Beijing around 3:00PM Friday their time (China is about 14 hours ahead of central time back in the States).  Olivia only slept about one hour straight while on the plane and she was SO excited when we landed in Beijing to be in China.  However, she fell fast asleep ont he van ride to our hotel. :)

It is now a little before 4:00AM Saturday morning here (we are all wide awake now after having all crashed by 6:00 yesterday evening) and we are meeting our guide at 8:00 to head to the Great Wall for the day.  The high today here is going to be the low 40s and it is currently SNOWING here!!!!
